Chase Houle joined the NBC Nebraska News team as a Video Journalist in November 2016.

Chase is a Peoria, Illinois native, that moved to Chicago on a whim to pursue his college education at Columbia College Chicago where he got his B.A. in broadcast journalism in television. While attending Columbia he worked as an anchor and reporter for their campus show, Metro Minutes and interned at ABC 7 Chicago where he learned how to produce, shoot, and navigate through the burrows of the Windy City.

While living in Chicago he also worked as a men's clothing stylist where he worked with names like Rod Stewart, Michael Jordan, the Chicago Cubs, the Bulls, the cast of Empire, and many of Chicago's news team.

Chase has a passion for celebrating diversity in any city, small or large. He hopes to hear from all members of the Tri-Cities and looks forward to discovering the hidden gems of Central Nebraska and voicing the voiceless.

In his spare time, you'll catch him checking out local restaurants, enjoying a nice Cabernet Sauvignon, or checking out a town he's never been to. If you want to highlight a unique place or have any story ideas for Chase please send him an email at
