Juvenile needs 16 staples to close head wound from assault

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Five people were injured in an assault early Sunday morning in Hastings.

Hastings police said the incident happened just after midnight Sunday morning in the 300 block of West E street.

They arrested Dustin Snyder, 20, of Hastings. Three adults and two juveniles were injured, including a teenage boy who suffered a head wound which required 16 staples to close.

Snyder was arrested for second degree assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony, criminal mischief and driving under suspension.

Hastings police said another person is wanted in connection with the assault, but that person is still at large.
