CHI Health St. Francis ends Ticket To Win fundraiser

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - The winner of the CHI Health St. Francis Ticket To Win Sweepstakes did not have to be present to claim the first prize of $20,000 Thursday night at the hospital, and that individual wasn't.

The person is Kaycee Anderson, who as probably asleep at the time.
That is because Kaycee is a nurse right here at CHI Health St. Francis. She is an early morning nurse, due at about 5:00 a.m.

Everyone that entered the drawing had to buy a $100 ticket.

This is all the part of the fundraiser that made the CHI Health St. Francis Foundation over $20,000 for both first responders and the cancer center.

About $11,000 was raised in the Ticket To Win Fundraiser while $11,000 more as donated.

A jersey of former Nebraska punter Sam Foltz and an autographed picture of Husker coach Mike Riley were auctioned off as well.
