OMAHA, Neb. (NBC News) -- Police say a man jumped the security fence at Eppley Airfield, stripped down to his underwear, then stole a truck and rammed it into a parked plane.
Authorities say the incident began around 9:30 p.m. Thursday night.
Officers encountered the man acting bizarre and screaming that people were trying to kill him.
When officers chased the man, he ran into a parking garage before scaling a fence and getting onto a runway.
He then stole a pick-up truck and rammed it into a Southwest Boeing 737 bound for Denver.
