TRI-CITIES, Neb. -- As we're "Working for the Weekend," here are some events you can check out in the tri-cities.

HASTINGS
What: Holiday Tour of Homes
When: Saturday, December 3 from 3 to 6 P.M.
Where: Hastings
Details: North Shore Mpact Girls Ministries is hosting a Tour of 5 beautiful homes decorated for the holidays. Tickets may be purchased at North Shore church during business hours (Mon-Thurs) until Dec 1st. Tickets are $10 until Dec 1st or $12 at any host home the day of the event.

What: Blue Hill Annual Holiday Craft Bazaar
When: Saturday, December 3 from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M.
Where: Blue Hill Community Center
Details: Local crafters, artisans, and home based businesses gather to showcase their wares in a friendly atmosphere perfect for your holiday shopping. Santa Claus arrives at 10 am via his horse drawn wagon. Visit with Santa from 10 to 12. Rides in a horse drawn wagon will be from 10 to 12.

GRAND ISLAND
What: Dannebrog's Danish Christmas
When: Saturday, Sunday December 3-4
Where: Throughout Dannebrog
Details: The Festival Committee invites everyone - young and the not-so-young to spend a couple days in Dannebrog for Danish Christmas. Your family will get the chance to take pictures with Santa and Old Father Christmas, enjoy hay rack rides through town, ice skating outside among the trees (weather permitting), and then warm up by the campfire with cider in hand. We promise you will come away from this weekend with the spirit of Christmas nestled deep in heart. Check them out on Facebook for more information.

What: Christmas Cookie Walk
When: Sunday, December 4 from 1 to 2:30 P.M.
Where: St. Paul's Lutheran Church - Family Life Center, 1515 S Harrison St., Grand Island
Details: Choose from over 12,000 holiday cookies and support Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity

KEARNEY
What: 6th Annual Minden Chamber Christmas CIty 5k Fun Run/walk & 1/2 mile Little Elf Run
When: Saturday, December 3 starting at 9 A.M.
Where: Westminster United Presbyterian Church, 109 N Colorado Ave, Minden, NE
Details: The top three runners in each division will be given awards. Also, best male & female with most Christmas spirit will receive award. We encourage costumes.*All 5k run/walk entrants will receive a race t-shirt & there will be a FREE WILL Breakfast served by the Minden Rotary Club following the race .* Cost of registration is $25 at time of race.

What: Ring the Good News! Handbell Concert
When: Sunday, December 4 from 7 to 8:15 P.M.
Where: Merryman Performing Arts Center, 225 W. 22nd Street, Kearney, NE
Details: Handbell choirs from four Kearney churches combine to present music of the Christmas season! Free-will offering. Refreshments and fellowship following.
