Hastings, NE It's a goal he's been striving for since he was a kid. And on Thursday in front of his home fans, Connor Laux did what only a rare few have done - earn his 100th career win.

"It's pretty. It's great," he exclaimed. "I've been wanting this my whole life wrestling and just looking at the names on the board. And I just wanted to work hard in the room so my name reaches with them because I know they're great wrestlers."

"Connor's a flashy wrestler," said Laux's head coach, Austin Weidner. "He's quick. He's powerful and he loves to score points so... We were going to cut him there at the end and have a little fun wrestling and kind of make it worth getting 100 wins."

Laux will continue to wrestle his way into the wrestling books, beginning this weekend at North Platte.
