BLUE HILL, Neb.--- Recently, Blue Hill Bobcat senior guard Kody Mann achieved his 1,000th career point. He was honored between games Friday at Blue Hill.

Kody and his teammates were back on the court Monday opening play in the Twin Valley Conference tournament against Silver Lake.

Blue Hill achieved a relatively easy 57-36 win and will now play the Deshler Dragons Thursday in the TVC semi-final in Kenesaw.

The winner advances to the title game Saturday also in Kenesaw. The Bobcats evened their record at 9-9.

Over in Kenesaw, the Blue Devils defeated the Shelton Bulldogs 57-50. They'll meet the Lawrence-Nelson Raiders Thursday in Kenesaw.

The girls TVC tournament starts tomorrow with four games, then play will also switch to Kenesaw for the rest of that tournament which will also conclude Saturday.

These games just might give us a clue as to which teams might be contenders for the district championships and state tournament.
