Western Nebraska hosts state poker tournament for the first time

People from all over the state of Nebraska came to Gering on October 22nd for the state poker tournament. The tournament was held for the first time in Western Nebraska at Goonies Sports Bar and Grill where everyone had a great time.

Tommy Armstrong Jr. accounted for 303 yards of total offense and two touchdowns and No. 8 Nebraska came back from a four-point halftime deficit to defeat Purdue 27-14 Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
