Sen. Bob Krist kicks off statewide campaign tour for governor

State senator Bob Krist of District 10 from Omaha met with local officials this week as part of his statewide listening tour to become Nebraska’s next governor.


Six students from the Valley Alternative Learning Transitioning School in Scottsbluff celebrated their graduation this week. These new graduates said that the inspiration from their teachers has helped shape their future.



Greg Reichert, 55, of McGrew is facing a charge of possession with intent to distribute 5 or more grams of methamphetamine


Prosecutor and defense attorneys showed their cards in a case against a teenager accused of killing an Ogallala man in March 2017. Amadeus Leroux is now 16 years old, and attorney Maren Chaloupka wants the case moved to juvenile court. Leroux pleads not guilty.
