Storm Raises Clark Cup Championship Banner Friday

The first-place Tri-City Storm will raise its Clark Cup Championship banner on Championship Night, presented by Viaero Wireless, this Friday, September 30 at 7:05 p.m. against Sioux City. Friday’s game is the first of two weekend contests that start the Storm’s home slate at the Viaero Center.

The Nebraska football team practiced in full pads and helmets for just over two and a half hours Wednesday afternoon. The offense worked inside Memorial Stadium while the defense practiced outside on the Ed and Joyanne Gass practice field.

Grand Island Islander Longins Kouri looks to win a medal at the state cross country meet in Kearney October 21st.

The Hastings College volleyball team completed a big road swing last week, coming out with two victories over St. Mary and Morningside. Both contests looked like a breeze for the Lady Broncos on paper, but it was much closer than you think.

The Hastings College football team suffered it's first loss Saturday, falling 39-20 at the hands of 22-ranked Dakota Wesleyan. But head coach Tony Harper and the Broncos are not dwelling on the past, but instead, focusing on the future.
