Nebraska Loses to MSU, Eliminated from Big Ten Tournament

Updated: 05/21/2015 - Minneapolis – The No. 8 seed Nebraska baseball team (34-23) had a 7-3 lead heading into the bottom of the eighth inning on Thursday afternoon at Target Field, but the No. 5 seed Michigan State Spartans (34-22) exploded for six runs in the frame on its way to a 9-7 victory that eliminated the Huskers from the Big Ten Tournament.

Huskers Drop 2nd straight to Purdue

Updated: 05/11/2015 - For the 2nd straight day, the Nebraska baseball team lost at home to Big 10 last place Purdue seriously damaging their chances of returning to the NCAA Tournament.

Petteway to Declare for NBA Draft

Posted: 04/16/2015 - University of Nebraska junior guard Terran Petteway announced Thursday morning that he is forgoing his senior season to declare for the 2015 NBA Draft. Petteway, a fourth-year junior from Galveston, Texas, is on track to earn his degree in May and has spent the last three seasons at Nebraska after transferring from Texas Tech.

NBC Nebraska Sports Sunday March 15th

Updated: 03/15/2015 - The Husker baseball team fell behind Florida Gulf Coast 2-0 Sunday afternoon but after a stern talking to by coach Darin Erstad the team woke up and rallied for a 3-2 win. The Huskers swept the three game series with FGCU. The St. Cecilia Bluehawks celebrated a late night state title win of Saturday over the Freeman Falcons, 60-36. The Nebraska Danger now has a week off after a 36-26 win down at Wichita Falls Saturday night against the Nighthawks. The Danger will host the Iowa Barnstormers March 27th at the Viaero Events Center. Both Wisconsin and Kansas will play in the NCAA Tournament in Omaha at the Century Link Center but are in different regions and will not meet each other. Confusing but amusing.

KSNB Sports Sunday March 8th

Posted: 03/08/2015 - The Husker basketball team dropped a 64-61 decision to Maryland at Pinnacle Bank Arena Sunday night. It was the last regular season game for the Huskers who finished 13-17 on the season losing their last 8 games. Nebraska's baseball team concluded a 1-2 weekend in Houston lost a 4-2 decision to the 2nd ranked LSU Tigers. The UNK Lopers defeated Ft. Hays State 10-0 at Memorial Field.

NBC Nebraska Sports 10 pm March 7th-Saturday

Posted: 03/07/2015 - The St. Ceclia Bluehawks lost the C-2 title game to Crofton Saturday.Kearney Catholic also lost its C-1 championship game earlier in the day to Pierce. The Nebraka Danger won its home opener vs. the Wichita Falls Nighthawks and the Husker football team started spring ball.
